The Caravan and Camping Industry Association of New South Wales Gold Award of Excellence is the highest recognition in the Australian RV industry. In 2026, Suncamper took out all three nominated categories: NSW Manufacturer of the Year, Outstanding Young Achiever, and Team of the Year.
Accreditation
RVMAP is the Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing Accreditation Program. It independently audits Australian RV manufacturers against strict quality, compliance, and process requirements. Every Suncamper is RVMAP accredited, which means it has been independently verified to meet the highest Australian manufacturing standards.

CCIA NSW Awards of Excellence
In 2026, Suncamper took out all three nominated categories at the CCIA NSW Awards of Excellence: NSW Manufacturer of the Year, Outstanding Young Achiever, and Team of the Year. Manufacturer of the Year has now been won 4 times, in 2014, 2018, 2024, and 2026. Best Motorhome (2003) and Best of the Best industry-wide (2018) sit in their own categories.

Manufacturer of the Year
The 2026 win is Suncamper's fourth NSW Manufacturer of the Year title, following wins in 2014, 2018, and 2024. The past 12 months included the Conqueror 3.0 launch after 18 months of development in collaboration with Ford, a move to fully composite construction across the range, and the largest commercial deal in the company's history.

Outstanding Young Achiever
Connor Jones
Connor Jones won Outstanding Young Achiever for the second time, after 2023. Winning it again three years on, with a far larger remit, says the work has kept growing with the role. This is an individual honour, not a company Manufacturer of the Year win.

The Suncamper Cabinetry Team
Marcos, Jon, Dylan, Ray, and Mitch took out Team of the Year at the 2026 awards, completing a clean sweep of all three nominated categories that night. The cabinetry team is the heartbeat of the Thornleigh factory, and customer feedback consistently singles out the interior finish as a standout part of owning a Suncamper.

Manufacturer of the Year
The 2024 win is Suncamper's third NSW Manufacturer of the Year title, following wins in 2014 and 2018. It came on the back of the 2.0 Range debut at the Sydney Supershow.
2023
Outstanding Young Achiever
Connor Jones
Connor Jones received the CCIA NSW Outstanding Young Achiever Award at the 2023 Awards of Excellence, recognising his individual contribution to the motorhome industry. This was a personal honour, not a Suncamper Manufacturer of the Year win.

Best of the Best, NSW industry-wide
A separate honour from Manufacturer of the Year. Best of the Best recognised Suncamper across the whole NSW CCIA industry in 2018, not limited to the manufacturing category. The two 2018 awards are distinct and are not counted as one event.

Suncamper's first CCIA NSW Manufacturer of the Year win, establishing the company among the leading manufacturers in New South Wales.

Best Motorhome
Suncamper won Best Motorhome in 2003. This is a product-category award, distinct from Manufacturer of the Year.

Awards are earned at specific moments, but our standards are maintained every single day. What the CCIA NSW Gold Award and RVMAP accreditation reflect is not a single year of good work. They reflect almost 50 years of building motorhomes in one factory, with one team, to one standard. That standard never changes, ever. No matter what the market is doing or why.
The same insulated fibreglass composite panel construction, internally aluminium reinforced on the Conqueror models, and five-year or 100,000km structural warranty that the industry recognises today is the same standard every Suncamper has been built to since the factory opened.
